Thanksgiving 2015

Whew. I'm tired! We had an eventful trip into Virginia for Thanksgiving and enjoyed some good time with Dillon's family. We traveled up on Thursday and had dinner with Dillon's extended family, then visited with his sweet Granny Gross who we hardly ever get to see. Thursday afternoon was with Dillon's daddy and resting up. Friday, we hit up Wal-Mart for some Black Friday shopping and then had lunch with Dillon's immediate family. Friday night, we went down to Speedway in Lights and had a great time. Luke LOVED the lights, especially the dinosaur section. We danced to music in the village and got to drive on a racetrack like Lightning McQueen.

Today we came back and unpacked our goodies and then went and got our Christmas Tree! We picked out a little tree that fits perfectly in our living room. It's all decorated with pretty presents underneath already. Now, to keep Luke out of them for the next month!

Tomorrow is relaxing and getting ready for a full work week. I may stay in my pajamas all day, we'll just have to see! We're so thankful for a loving family and time off to be able to see everyone. Now onto the craziness of the Christmas season!

Libby says "look at me!" :)

Dillon, Granny Gross & Luke. Mrs. Gross and her late husband kept Dillon from the time he was 2 months old until he was in school. The hold a very special place in Dillon's heart.

Coming back today we did a little browsing/shopping at the new Cabela's & Bass Pro. Luke found a football and HAD to have it. So much so, that he slept with it on the way back.

Our ornament this year is "Firetruck 'Mater"... only thing is, Luke likes it so much, Mater hasn't made it to the tree yet.
