One last post... The Pumpkins' Great Transformation

We've had quite the eventful weekend. My laundry didn't get done and the bathrooms didn't clean, but we did have a good time...

Today my mom and dad came down for a visit where we enjoyed a 2 hour lunch at Cracker Barrel due to leaf lookers from the deep south. Every car in the parking lot was from South Carolina. We then traveled up the interstate to run some errands which took another hour to get to South Asheville because traffic was backed up. I love the views, but I have to admit the traffic in the fall around here is annoying.

After our visit, Dillon and I got to work on our pumpkins! The results are below. :)

Lunch with g-ma & g-pa. On our hour long wait.

The view off our front porch this morning. Pretty epic.

Yum!

Happy Anniversary & Pumpkins!

Happy 6th year anniversary Dillon!

This time 6 years ago we said the big "I Do" and promised to stick together through thick and thin. What a great six years we've had!

We celebrated today with picking pumpkins with our dear friends, the Wyatts, and traveling to Lake Lure for lunch. It's been a beautiful, almost magical, day. The kids had minimal meltdowns and the weather has been the wonderful, standard October day. Clear skies and colorful leaves. The pictures can probably tell a better story than anything I can write!

PS, Love you, Dill... You're the best husband a girl could ask for! ;)

About the best we could do since they are always on the go!
