January Update

I haven't really done a great job and blogging in 2014, even though we're only less than 2 weeks in. We haven't been up to much, therefore lacking in photos.

A few weeks before Christmas, we decided that it was a little tough having only one vehicle that could haul Luke around. Plus if I ever had meetings early or late in the day, we'd have to switch off cars so that Dillon could pick him up from daycare. My dad offered us a really good deal on his truck that has a backseat so now we have two vehicles that can carry a baby! It's been very handy and we've already utilized shared baby hauling.

We survived the super cold temperatures last week (and so did our heat pump, thankfully!) I did have to work from home a few days because of snow and cold weather. This week will hopefully be our first regular schedule week.

Yesterday we painted our dining room and I've organized all of our photos. We have more actual pictures from this last year than the entire time we've been together!  I'm sure 2014 will only bring more!

Today we went to the Arboretum with the Wyatts to see this exhibit made out of Legos! It was very interesting and I would highly recommend everyone to go see it!

We don't have any exciting plans coming up. Luke's birthday is coming up rapidly so I'm trying to think of fun 1st birthday ideas. Mark your calendars for April 19th because I think that's when I'll hold his party. Fun times for sure!

Sweet girl!

Being almost 2 is rough. :( Mom and dad don't always let you do what you want.

We were back to golden in no time!

While we all really enjoyed the exhibit, Luke wasn't impressed.

Going home!
