One Week In...

We've survived a whole week in our new house! We're pretty much unpacked, except for the basement and Dillon's working on painting and getting it situated. We were off of work all last week and went back on Friday, but were able to accomplish so much in that time off. We got our bedroom painted and everything in it's right place. I'm amazed at the space and storage closets in this house. Where our house was lacking before, we now have an abundance. I'm sure in a few years, it will all be crammed with our stuff.

Not much else is going on other than the house move. We haven't had much time to enjoy the summer so far, but are hoping to change that soon.

Luke is on the verge of walking. He's taking small quick steps from one place to another, without any guidance, so I feel sure that in a few weeks (maybe days?) he'll take off.

We're heading back to a full work week tomorrow, but thankfully, it's a normal work week. No evening work, no weekend work, just a normal Monday-Friday week.

We're enjoying the peace and quiet of the country and it's nice to feel like we're able to unwind.

Dillon climbed down our steep hill and cut some peonies from our yard. They were absolutely gorgeous!

Luke has really enjoyed a lot more freedom at this house. Since our living area is all on one floor he can explore a lot more.

Eating breakfast in his new kitchen

The dogs have really enjoyed the screened in porch

Being silly... he had a spaghetti mustache. I tried to get him to eat it, but he just kept pushing it back up on his lip!

His favorite spot here lately, dad's shoulders

Typical response to being in his highchair

The lovely Mrs. Wyatt and our bebes!

Our first guests to grill out!

Luke has started dancing... Here he is at Relay cutting a rug!
