Happy Mother's Day! We've had a good day, and a busy few weeks. Spring/Summer is picking up which means our schedule is too!
Last week, I caught the stomach bug... My mom had it the week before and I thought we were all in the clear, but I woke up about 1:30 AM Thursday morning and my body had other ideas. It was not fun and I missed attending a formal work event that I had bought a dress and jewelry for. My mom and I had manicures scheduled for Thursday and all of that had to be canceled. It was a real bummer.
Otherwise, after the flu, the rest of the family has been good. It seems like all the bad illnesses have hit rather late this year.
Luke finished up his soccer and they conveniently gave him a flyer on the last game day about soccer camps this summer. He decided he wanted to sign up for one so he's got that on the books as well as a Lego camp in July. He'll be staying with my mom and dad for 3 days and I'll have him the other 2 so I'm not wanting to overbook him in activities but a few things is ok with me.
We've got a camping trip coming up and a trip to the beach and some summer camps and then some days to do some fun things together. I'm super ready for it all!

| Oh and I got a new car... My Subaru was on the fritz the week we all had the flu so I gave up on it and went back to a Honda. |
