We finally did something fun in our family! I turn 34 on Monday so my birthday request was to shirk all of our responsibilities at home and go do something fun as a family. We have passes to the local Nature Center and with those passes we can get in to all kinds of museums and zoos across the country so we drove about an hour to Greenville and went to their little zoo they have there. It was really fun! The weather was a little overcast, but made it the perfect temperature. We saw all kinds of fun animals and of course made a stop at the gift shop.
Luke's adjusting really well to the 1st Grade and seems to like his teacher and friends. It always takes him a few weeks to gain his footing and get into the routine, but he seems to be getting there!
We've got a busy rest of the month and then it all kind of hits the fan from October to the end of the year. I hope we'll be able to fit in some more fun activities with our little family, fingers crossed!
