Pumpkin Picking 2018 (In 90 Degree Weather)

Whew, we went on our annual pumpkin picking extravaganza today even though it felt more like July than it did October. Our month of October is so filled up, this was really the only weekend we had to go and have our fun fall festival.

We went back out to Linda's Plants in Hendersonville and they had grown in leaps and bounds. They had several pumpkin patches, a lot of great picture opportunities and my favorite, no one was there! We always go past Granddad's Apple Farm on the way there and it is always crowded with SO many people there and no parking spaces in sight. At Linda's, you can pull right up and actually go in a pumpkin patch to pick the pumpkin.  It seems to be a nice hidden gem.

It was SO. FLIPPING. HOT. though which made it just a little miserable. It also made our kids grumpy so while we wanted to have cute Fall photos, that didn't really work out.

We did end up having a good time though, hanging out with our friends and commiserating together though about how hard it is to just get out of the house with two kids. We don't have much time to hang out with our friends now, so it was nice to spend a day with them!

I love summer and the warmth, but I have to admit that I really do want some cooler weather. This mess of 80 degree weather is really getting to me. I looked up the weather for Savannah when we visit and it's going to be in the mid-80s most of the time. I guess I won't take my boots and sweaters, ha!

How most of the morning went...

Trying to get a picture of the girls and Luke photo bombs!

This tree grows Gatorades!

Yep... this was about as good as we could get of a photo of the 4 of them.

We hit up Whistle Hop Brewery in Fairview. It was awesome. No crowds and all kind of stuff to keep the kiddos occupied!

Alright there, little Dillon.

Those curls...

This was Charlie's photography!
