We're in the middle of summer now and don't really have any plans coming up until Labor Day. We're tossing around the idea of maybe going to Asheboro/Durham for a few days to hit up the Zoo and the Science Center, both of which we get into free with our Nature Center passes!
Speaking of the Nature Center... we hit it up this morning. I cleaned up the house on Thursday leaving us with a free morning so we decided to take a lunch and run around there for a bit. It was a little hot, Luke was a little cranky but we still managed to have a good time (for the most part, ha!)
We're gearing up for the 4th and while I have Tuesday off anyways, Dillon and Luke will get to stay home, too! We're going to grill out, maybe go swimming, and enjoy the extra day together. I wish we had off Monday too so that we could extend the weekend, but I'll take what we can get!
No other news in this neck of the woods. We're enjoying the summer and all that it brings!
